Rakim Sajero
Psychology & Mental Wellbeing Practitioner
Rakim combines NHS mental-health experience, academic psychology, research and professional sport to help clients strengthen resilience, confidence and practical coping strategies.
Rakim’s approach is informed by the understanding that mental wellbeing is shaped by psychological, physical, social and lifestyle factors. His work helps clients explore the challenges affecting them while identifying realistic strategies that can support emotional regulation, confidence, healthier routines and meaningful personal progress.
Alongside his mental-health work, Rakim is an experienced amateur and professional boxer. Having trained in the sport from a young age, he brings first-hand understanding of discipline, pressure, setbacks, injury, consistency and performance expectations. This gives him a particularly relevant perspective when supporting athletes, performers and active individuals.
At ETSA, Rakim provides psychologically informed mental-wellbeing support within a professional and confidential environment. His approach is collaborative and practical, with appropriate signposting to specialist mental-health services when a client’s needs fall outside his agreed scope.
